Biography:
The Lord created many interests in this life and I find that i do like most of them. He must have created Art right near the top because of the World's beauty. It seems I have had a pencil in my hand most of my life and enjoyed sketching. From about the fourth grade on I wanted to be a commercial artist but soon realized I had to eat. Consequently, this never completely happened although I have taken some commercial art courses. It was many years before I had opportunity to have time and start painting. For the past 20 years I have been able to paint and explore Art. I credit my wife of 20 years for affording me such time.
Statement:
I find that I now enjoy painting what I believe to be beautiful. I not only paint for myself but hope that others may enjoy my work, too. There is a certain amount of inner reward when you just know you did a good job. If one gets a little kudos along the way it inspires them to keep on keeping on. I hope that you enjoy at least some of my works.
