Daughter of award winning landscape designer, Kathleen Irvine, Mona grew up in a rich creative environment. She has always worked: crayon, pencil, collage, photography, performance, and recently oils. Even as a small child she was formally educated, eventually attending School of Visual Arts (New York) and Massachusetts College of Art (Boston).

Mona's unique and fresh approach make her paintings relevant. The energetic brush strokes and sensitivity to colour interpret the subject with depth, strength, and force.
